What is Christmas ? It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present , hope for the future . It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal , and that every path may lead to peace .

I was making my list , I was checking it twice , In the middle of this , I got tears in my eyes , For in my foolish heart , There was one simple truth , The only gift I wanted was you.

Just before I go to sleep , I hear a church bell ring , Merry Christmas , ev'ryone
So I say a silent prayer , For creatures great and small , Peace on earth , goodwill to man .
Oh I won't ask for much this Christmas . I don't want a lot for Christmas , I won't even wish for snow. there is just one thing I need , I don't care about the presents , I'm just gonna keep on waiting . Underneath the Christmas tree , Underneath the mistletoe . I won't make a list and send it to the North Pole for Saint Nick . I won't even stay awake to . Hear those magic reindeer click . Cause I just want you here tonight . I just want you for my own , Holding on to me so tight . More than you could ever know , Make my wish come true... All I want for Christmas is YOU .

As the bittersweet night , Had come to an end , I was saying goodbye , To a family and friends . And they all wished me well . And I knew that I knew . I want you filled in my stockings tomorrow morning . This is the prayer that I will keep:)
