Jun Matsumoto and Yui Aragaki will co-star in a new TBS drama series titled "Smile."
Takayuki Takuma ("Hana Yori Dango") is handling the script, though he is using his real name rather than his usual pen name of Mikio Satake.

Matsumoto plays a half-Filipino whose father has died and mother has disappeared. Despite his misfortune and the issues he deals with, such as race, he lives his life positively with a constant smile.

Similarly, Aragaki plays a young woman living cheerfully despite losing her ability to speak due to an accident. Her character is said to be modeled after a real actress in the theatrical troupe that Takuma runs.

The supporting cast includes Kiichi Nakai as a lawyer who watches over Matsumoto and Aragaki.

"Smile" will air on Friday nights at 10:00pm, starting in April."

I don’t know why this keep happening, but I keep on getting suck into the world of Hana Yori Dango. Maybe it’s the play on social class and how love can overcome anything - even Domyoji’s evil mother. Or maybe it’s the way the show presents the modern world’s definition of friendship: gains. With wealth being the lust of all times, the F4 characters in the story can’t help but only trust each other. Yet here comes little Maki Tsukino, a girl from wayyyy across the gem-encrusted pond.

I’m of course talking about the new revival of the HYD storyline currently being made in Korea under the title of Boys Over Flower. So far, the story mimics the Japanese drama a bit, but there’s still something different about it. The acting is a bit rough at the moment since many of the actors are actually new at this. However, the story is still there and that’s what important. What’s new is the way these new actors interpret their characters. Some are doing it quite successfully, while other can’t seem to get out of their shell. I’m going to try my best to stop comparing it to the JDrama and treat it as a new drama (it’s gonna be tough though). However, right now I still find the show very enjoyable.

The cast for the Korean version of Hana Yori Dango is finally revealed. Even though I am very familiar with the storyline at this point, there is still a part of me that’s wondering how they’ll do this. My hope is that they’ll add a new twist to the story while keeping the core elements like the F4 guys and the hard-working personality of the female lead.The new F4.

Hana Yori Dango is a japanese shojo manga series by Yukio Kamio. I guess if you watch Meteor Garden, the story is the same. Its about a poor working class gal who attended an exclusively rich and high-society school named Eitoku Academy. The school is practically dominated by the F4 knows as flowery four;

1) Doumyouji Tsukasa, the hot tempered, richest and leader of the F4

2) Rui Hanazawa, a violinist, quiet and the most handsome guy (to me) and Tsukushi's 1st love

3) Nishikado Soujiro, the heir to the largest tea ceremony practitioner and an unrepentant playboy

4) Mimasaka Akira, seems to be the heir to the largest mafia group and he likes older women as his two twin sisters and mother are actually very childish.

Tsukushi decided she wanted to keep a low profile in school but when she tried to save a friend who accidentally provoked the F4 leader, she practically lead a life in hell at school. Her only pillar of support and her 1st love was hanazawa rui, one of the F4 members who is in love with his childhood friend Toudou Shizuka while Tsukasa later fell in love with her but due to his high egoness, and always losing his temper was a major turn off to Tsukushi.

Over the course of the series, Tsukushi's feelings for Tsukasa evolve, and she begins to appreciate the degree of change that occurred in Tsukasa once he fell in love with her. He becomes fiercely loyal to Tsukushi and believes in her beyond all doubt, and slowly gets her to see him in a different light. The physical obstacles and emotional challenges of their rocky high-school courtship form the basis of the story. Other themes include Tsukushi's attempt to fit in at the school, the problems of her family's lifestyle and income, and the decadent lifestyle of upper-class Japanese girls.

A recommended drama if you are looking for comedy and romance series to kill time. I dont feel bored watching it all over again. Just like spongebob. Lolz. Here are my 2 favorite characters which i have developed feelings for them while enjoying the drama. *blush blush* This kind of dream will never come true. *sob sob*

My most handsome boyfriend,Doumyouji Tsukasa; real name Matsumoto Jun. He is also one of the members of a boyband - Arashi which sang the opening song for Hana Yori Dango Season 1 and Season 2.

My second most admired person,Tsukushi Makino,real name Inoue Mao

MuahX to both of them for making a successful drama series for Hana Yori Dango. Love you both so much. Thanks to Arashi too for coming out with a song who made me addicted listening to it without stopping.

One of my friend told me about her first day in her school , and and she told me this freaking " I went to two schools and both rejected me ! "

damn pity her , FUCK IT Man , cant they work with her application faster ? What the hell , other student already register in their schools and her ?! Suffer at home with boredom while all her friends enjoy ~~suffer~~ in school with friends& teachers . WTH . People start to thank God that we have a school because she don have one and its freaking embarrassing . FUCK IT MAN !

Yippie , Form 4 ^^ The first day of high school is the most important day of your life . Exaggeration ? Absolutely NOT ! That life altering day begins with first impressions . Your worthiness is evaluated , scored, and your social standing is chinked into stone by your peers . It is the defining period of your teenage years and thus will impact your future success , who you marry , who you become .

The shiny extensive corridor awaited my sluggish footsteps , '4Arif' was my destination . I clasped the cold copper door handle and peered through a crevice in the frosted window pane , I was the first person to arrive , however I had woken up early ,

The alarm vibrated on top of my table , with each buzz pulsing through my veins , sending shock waves to my heart , now realising I had to wake up .
At speed I tugged the skirt up to my waist , fastening them with 'baju kurung' . Feeling my stomach churn as the tightness increased .

First period , English ; no problem , I could form a decent sentence .
Second period was economy with Mr. Raziman , or as the seniors called him ‘Hands Down’ , as he allegedly liked to put his hands on the girls’ bottoms .

Third period science was hosted by a frighteningly stereotypical absentminded professor by the name of Mrs. Lee ,

Fourth period , right before lunch , was with Mr. Truelove . We could have had a bloody field day with his name , but he was the school principal so the students collectively , respectfully left his name in tact . Fact was , Mr. Truelove was a really cool guy and a terrific math teacher . Numbers were not my strong suit so I was naturally nervous , but the first 30 minutes in his class were enjoyable . I answered a few questions correctly and made the guy sitting in front of me laugh with a few well-placed sarcastic asides . Half of this stressful day was over and I felt great . Life was good . New class was awesome :D

I desperately need advice . here's the deal .

I really like/love/have a crush on somebody . Pick whatever . But we had been broke up since july 08 . However , I can't stop thinking of him and I don't know what to do but it is really annoying when I have to study and do other necessary things . I'm also in a bad mood all the time and am constantly day-dreaming . This is going on for about five months and it really burdens me :(
I felt like a weirdo , but my intentions were totally on the level . I do love him , I mean that . Sadly ,
he doesn't loves me anymore .
What should I do? I swear I am dizzy from him . I need him , and I am so tired of being alone and I think I found the boy of my dreams . If I look at a picture of him I don't go to sleep at night . I bang my head on the wall and will myself to get him out of my mind so that I can think of my boy . I think of him at stupid moments . I miss him . I haven't attempted to contact him . I don't want to mess things up for him .

When I woke up , I've received some motivation message from my friends . Sry dude I cant rep ur msg cos my hands 'mengeletar' .

Fiuhhh , act I dont wanna go out to take my result bt my sis twisted my arm :( When I came to school , I saw many students and my friends too . I was veryveryvery nervous , atoii =.= God , help me liao , soso scare lei =(

I've noticed that one of my classmates got 8A's and 1C , waaaa , No wonder , he put his back into it and got good results . My teacher told me no one in my class got A's in Bahasa Arab , wth , bahasa arab really2 susah . Kan da kate arituuuuhhh .

'Bahasa Arab' paper was quiet tough , && guess what ? I leave 2 pages cos my mind was blank besides it was a raining cats and dogs out there and I felt very sleepyyy . I told my friend about this and she saids " Have you gone out of your mind ?! " Haiz . Not gone out of my mind laarr , im just asking for trouble . Bahaha :p

PMR is really annoying and its bane of my life ! I've work my fingers to the bone and I hope everything gonna be alright and you cunts , keep your fingers crossed for me . heh . My mom told me not to worry , it'll all come out in the wash . Mama , abah , dont go bananas if my result not bring the house down :(

Ugh , its back !

After watched Twilight , I felt like my fever's back , feel sad fer me :(
Maybe it's due to the weather .
I'm feeling so cold now . Cold on the outside & hot in the inside . Even tears are starting to roll down my cheeks cos of the heat. Okie , i think i'll go shower myself with cold water . REALLY REALLY COLD WATER . so maybe my temperature will go down . (fyi my temp now is 40 degree celcius)

It has been 1 year now but memories of that fateful day still lingers on for many .

I live in Penang Island . A quiet , peaceful and beautiful tropical island located in Peninsular Malaysia . An island that is reknowned for it's pristine white sandy beaches and is a very well known and popular tourist destination . On December 26 2004 - pandemonium struck . Giant waves swept into the coastal beaches of Penang and our lives changed forever .

When the tsunami first hit Penang , there was a news blackout for a few hours and many did not know what had really happened . You would be surprised that in some places no one even knew the magnitude of the disaster only until a few days later.

We now realise how fragile life really is and how easily it can be taken away from us .

didnt went out today .just slack at home .
and today karaoked with brother .haha funney bunney.and we sang old-rock malay songs .
yeahh so unsuitable for our ages but apparently we knew most of the songs .
weird though but im sure my neighbours would be sighing hearing our voices .
